Journey to a new community...
For several years Southern Hills Parish has served the people in and surrounding the community of Hernyville, Indiana and the community surrounding Nabb, Indiana. As a Parish consisting of three Presbyterian Congregations, we have been called fulfill our call to enter the Kingdom of God becoming the visible presence of Christ Jesus.
Like the early church, we worship together, eat together, sing together, and pray together. Grounded on the Word of God we study together to understand God's call to us in service to our Creator and to the community and each other. We are always seeking paths of service to the least of these.

Expanding the vision...
God's Kingdom is a community bound together in the common good of al. We are an inclusive community fulfilling God's justice and peace. ‘Wonderful news for the peacemakers! You’ll be called God’s children.'
In God's Kingdom there is no slave nor freeman, no male nor female, no rich nor poor, there is only the Children of God equal in His eyes and forgiven.
